Guadalupe Felix Arraigned on Felony Drug Charges, Being Armed While in Possession of Controlled Substances, and Felony Child Endangerment

Guadalupe Felix was arraigned today, May 30, 2025, before the Honorable Judge Guiliani in Department 8C of the San Joaquin County Superior Courthouse. Agents from the San Joaquin County Metropolitan Narcotics Task Force (Metro) executed a search warrant at Felix's residence on May 28, 2025. Agents located 74 pounds of methamphetamine, 428.6 grams of heroin, 50 fentanyl pills, two handguns and one AR style short barrel rifle. Felix is currently facing felony charges for possession of these controlled substances for sale, with an enhancement for possessing over 20 kilograms of methamphetamine and for being armed while in possession of these controlled substances, as well as felony child endangerment charges. The Honorable Judge Guiliani set bail at $2 million. Felix is scheduled to come back to court on June 16, 2025, at 1:30 pm, when his co-defendants are also scheduled for arraignment.

"The sheer volume of dangerous narcotics and weapons recovered in this case represents a serious threat to public safety,” said District Attorney Ron Freitas. “The defendant’s alleged actions not only posed a grave risk to our community but also endangered the life of a child. Our office is committed to holding individuals accountable who traffic in deadly substances and endanger others, especially the most vulnerable."

The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office commends the San Joaquin County Metropolitan Narcotics Task Force (Metro) for their outstanding work in seizing a substantial quantity of illegal drugs and keeping them off our streets.
