Jury Convicts AngelAnn Flores of Filing a False Insurance Claim, a Felony
On July 10, 2025, a jury in Department 6D of the San Joaquin County Superior Court convicted AngelAnn Flores of one felony charge, filing a false insurance claim.
The charge stems from a months-long investigation conducted by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office and an indictment issued by a Grand Jury.
“This conviction sends a clear message that fraud will not be tolerated, and that justice will be pursued,” said the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office. “The office is committed to ensuring that our elected leaders are held accountable.”
Flores, a Stockton Unified School District board member, was found guilty of filing a false insurance claim following several days of testimony and evidence presentation.
The court has scheduled sentencing for Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM in Department 6D.
The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office extends its gratitude to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office for their thorough work on this case and the Grand Jury, which issued the indictment.
