Joseph Perez has served as Information Systems Manager for the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office since February 2024. He leads the information systems team through strategic IT initiatives, data management, and network administration functions. He is a lifelong resident of San Joaquin County with over two decades of experience in information systems, data governance, telecommunications, and project management in both the private and public sectors.

Mr. Perez graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Career Technical Education. He then attended California State Stanislaus to complete his MBA degree.

Before joining the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office, Mr. Perez served the public as Data Program Manager for the San Joaquin County Office of Education. He was responsible for modernizing educational technology platforms and cultivating a culture of data literacy. This role provided him with opportunities in the private sector to coordinate data governance efforts in legal technology, and institute data quality measures in the mortgage sector.

Mr. Perez returns to the public sector to focus on driving technological innovation and increasing information systems efficiency for the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office.
