San Joaquin County, California - The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with District Attorney Ron Freitas and the Family Justice Center, will be hosting a Human Trafficking Town Hall on Wednesday, April 10th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.
The town hall will feature a panel of experts who will be available to answer questions from the community. Additionally, community partners will be on hand to provide valuable information and resources to the public. Several dignitaries from local government are also expected to be in attendance, demonstrating the importance and collective effort in the fight against human trafficking.
“We are committed to raising awareness about the issue of human trafficking and providing support to survivors,” said District Attorney Ron Freitas. “This town hall is an important step in our ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking in San Joaquin County.”

A Family Justice Center is a collaborative model of service delivery that brings together a range of resources and support services under one roof to better serve victims of Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Sexual Assault, Elder Abuse, Child Abuse, and Stalking.
The goal of a Family Justice Center is to provide comprehensive and coordinated support to individuals and families affected by abuse, helping them to feel safe and supported as they navigate the process of seeking help and rebuilding their lives.
