Today, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint in Superior Court from this afternoon’s arrest of former Stockton Unified School District Board President Angel Ann Flores conducted by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
Flores faces four felony charges including PC550(A)(4) Making false or fraudulent claims, PC424a (1) Embezzlement by public officer, PC487(A) Grand theft: money/labor/property, and PC504A Embezzlement by public or private officer.
These charges stem from a complaint from SUSD, investigated by the Sheriff’s Office.
Bail has been set at $175,000. Arraignment is expected at the Superior Court early next week.
The DA’s Office continues its investigation and will provide additional details as they develop. No further comment will be provided at this time.
