Stockton, CA - Today, the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office and District Attorney Ron Freitas announced the criminal indictment by the Grand Jury of Angel Ann Flores on felony charges. The charges include:
Ron Freitas, San Joaquin County District Attorney, stated, "Grand juries have been a hallmark of the American justice system since the founding of our Nation. The San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office has facilitated a Grand Jury in moving forward with this indictment, stridently upholding the constitutional right to a swift and impartial judicial process for all involved. This step was essential to prevent additional delays and to maintain the fairness of the legal proceedings."
Jury trial on this matter has been scheduled for March 14, 2025 in Department 8 D.
A Family Justice Center is a collaborative model of service delivery that brings together a range of resources and support services under one roof to better serve victims of Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Sexual Assault, Elder Abuse, Child Abuse, and Stalking.
The goal of a Family Justice Center is to provide comprehensive and coordinated support to individuals and families affected by abuse, helping them to feel safe and supported as they navigate the process of seeking help and rebuilding their lives.
