Peter Zile, 60, and Lisa Hall, 47, were arraigned October 12, 2026, in San Joaquin County Superior Court following their arrests in connection with an auto theft investigation that led to the seizure of 57 pounds of methamphetamine, 16,000 fentanyl pills, $288,142 in cash, and 14 firearms.
Both defendants appeared at 1:30 p.m. in Department 8B before Judge Allan Jose. Zile’s bail was set at $500,000, and Hall’s bail was set at $750,000. They are scheduled to return to court October 14, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in Department 8B for a bail review and further arraignment proceedings.
“The amount of drugs, cash, and firearms uncovered during this investigation is alarming and highlights the serious threat these illegal activities pose to our community. This operation demonstrates the power of coordinated law enforcement efforts, with multiple agencies working together to disrupt criminal activity and protect public safety. We will continue to work alongside our law enforcement partners to hold offenders accountable and keep dangerous drugs and weapons off our streets,” said San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas.
The arrests followed the October 8, 2026, execution of a search warrant in the 3300 block of Isabella Lane in Stockton. The Delta Regional Auto Theft Task Force (RATT), San Joaquin County Metro Task Force, and California Highway Patrol Valley Division K-9 Unit conducted the search as part of an ongoing auto theft investigation.
During the search, investigators located and seized:
Both defendants face multiple felony charges, including possession of controlled substances for sale, firearm and ammunition offenses, possession of assault weapons, possession or transportation of a machine gun, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
Our office commends the Delta Regional Auto Theft Team (RATT) Task Force for its outstanding investigative efforts. We also acknowledge the vital assistance provided by the San Joaquin County Metro Task Force and the California Highway Patrol Valley Division K-9 personnel, whose seamless cooperation and coordinated efforts were instrumental to the success of this investigation.
